1. Prepare your design or design idea for production. Separate the screen printing
design by color and print each color on a film
positive or special paper. Each color represents
a separate screen color and needs it’s own
color separation.
|
2. Attach the positive to an emulsion
coated screen. A separate screen is prepared to screen
print each color. |
3. Expose the screen to an ultra-violet
light to burn the design image into the screen. |
 |
 |
 |
4. Wash the unexposed areas of
the screens with warm water.
|
5. Mount the screens on the screen
press and line up the color separated screen print
images to print on the t shirt.
|
6. Add ink to the screen.
Each
color is applied separately.
|
 |
 |
 |
7. Load the t shirt squarely onto
the machine’s printing platen. |
8. Pull the ink across the screen
with a rubber screen printing squeegee. |
9. Remove the t shirt... |
 |
 |
 |
10. ... and run
it through a special dryer, used specifically for
t shirt screen printing,
at 320°F to cure the
ink. |
11. Inspect each t shirt for quality
when it comes out of the dryer and neatly fold and
pack in boxes. |
12. Enjoy your high quality custom
screen printed ScreenPrintedWear t shirt. |
